2018 RMBA Fall Ranch Tour

September 8, 2018

Join us as we visit Beaver Creek Buffalo Ranch, a uniquely managed native grassland oasis in northwestern Kansas. Consisting of several contiguous ranches that total approximately 4,000 acres, a 240 head cow herd, yearlings that are finished on grass and/or grain, and some deep-rooted Kansas history including the first homestead and first post office in the county, this is a ranch visit that you will not want to miss.

Beaver Creek Buffalo is a joint venture of Ken Klemm & family and Peter Thieriot & family. Their dual purpose is to be the premier supplier of pure grass-fed and finished buffalo meat and be the industry leader in providing grass-based genetics for ranchers in the U.S.

Our day long ranch tour will cover everything from fencing and facility building materials, design, and functionality, to pasture health and management. Direct meat sales and online marketing will also be covered. We will travel to see the buffalo herd and spend plenty of time socializing, chatting, and having a wonderful day will fellow buffalo ranchers and enthusiasts. Lunch and dinner is provided with registration.
